The block of accommodations reserved for the event at the Embassy Suites has been sold out as of 2/13/24 and no additional rooms have been made available to us. If you visit their website or call the hotel directly, you may find available rooms during the dates of the event at a greatly increased price.

However, we have secured a group rate for the dates of the event at the Marriott TownePlace Suites, a new hotel in SLO about a mile from the Embassy Suites. These are studios with either King or Queen beds and include breakfast.  Our event rate is $259/night, which is a significant savings over their normal published rates.

Register for North meets South

As of March 2nd, the event is full and registrations are on a "waitlist" basis. 

When registering for a waitlist, you must complete the entire registration process. Your billing information will be verified, but you will not be charged until your are awarded a spot. If you are awarded a spot, your card will be charged and you will receive an email confirmation.

Registration is ALL INCLUSIVE and includes event fees, the goodie bag, Thursday and Friday evening receptions at the Embassy Suites, tours, tech session(s), car entry in the Concours, the Saturday awards dinner with entertainment and the Sunday morning swap meet. Registration fees increase by $25 for both registrants and co-registrants AFTER APRIL 1st- so REGISTER EARLY!

Your registration fees and any merchandise purchases are FULLY REFUNDABLE up until April 1st, 2024. AFTER APRIL 1st, WE REGRET WE CANNOT ISSUE A REFUND OF REGISTRATION FEES OR MERCHANDISE PURCHASES.

We will publish a schedule to all registrants and post it on our website (356car.org) as soon as it is available. Look for future emails from us concerning the event in your inbox. Please make sure our email address: [email protected] is in your "allowed senders list" or "white list" or some other "good guys" list to receive our email communications.

Would you like to volunteer?

An event of this size takes a lot of work to organize and pull off. We have the organization in place but are looking for volunteers at the event to help us make it a success. This is a great opportunity to help in such areas as registration, merchandise distribution, the Concours and other areas. Meet new friends and enjoy the satisfaction of helping the event to succeed. Concours Entry

Plan to enter the People's Choice Concours on Saturday morning in the Laguna Lake Park. Always a fun, low-key event for everyone. Bring your lunch to eat in the park or plan on visiting the many great restaurants in the area afterwards (no lunch served in the park at this year's event). Our cost (for the registration platform and credit card processing) to incorporate the convenience of  online registration and merchandise ordering for this event is 6% of the fees collected. In order to keep the overall event fees as low as possible, we are passing on these charges to participants at this year's North meets South for registration fees only.
